Founded in 1978, the Floyd Memorial Foundation is a tax-exempt organization established solely to support the mission and needs of Baptist Health Floyd and its affiliate organizations. The Foundation acts as a vital link between the hospital’s vision of excellence and its financial capacity to provide the best for the community it serves. Financial contributions from individuals, families, organizations and corporations help support advanced and effective resources in order to promote quality health and healing through sophisticated technology, community health screenings, medical and nursing scholarships as well as support for the Floyd County Family Health Center.
COVID-19 Pandemic Emergency Fund
During these challenging and uncertain times, the Floyd Memorial Foundation hopes you are doing as well as can be expected and staying healthy and occupied.
Rest assured, Baptist Health Floyd medical team members are working around the clock to continue to provide the best care to patients and keep our community safe.
As you may be aware, there are community members who have been significantly impacted by the recent turn of events, either by loss of business activity and/or income, confined at home as they abide by a quarantine mandate, or trying to manage a serious health issue with limited means.
To ensure that resources are available to those who need them the most during this volatile time, whether that be COVID-19 testing, treatment, food, medication, supplies or other essential needs, the Floyd Memorial Foundation has established a COVID-19 Emergency Fund to support the Southern Indiana community including Baptist Health Floyd patients, family members and employees. If you are interested in partnering with us to serve those most affected by this crisis, please click the following link to make a donation: Donate now
In addition to the COVID-19 Emergency Fund, we are also initiating Adopt-A-Unit at Baptist Health Floyd. Donors can support a catered breakfast, lunch or dinner from a local restaurant for a specific Unit at the hospital. Not only will this initiative support the morale of our medical team members currently experiencing a challenging, ever-changing workload and work conditions, but also support local restaurants who need the business more than ever to stay afloat. If you are interested in making a minimum $50 contribution to Adopt-A-Unit, please click on the following link: Donate now
Gifts from the community are essential to assist with support for projects that cannot be funded through Baptist Health Floyd’s general operating revenue. Your gift, whether great or small, will help us continue to fund the important programs, services and effective health screenings for our community as well as scholarships for future, qualified medical professionals. For a complete listing of opportunities visit our Giving Opportunities brochure.
We thank you for your continued partnership, support for the health and well-being of our community members, and wish you and your family serenity and solace as we navigate the days ahead.
